Percin, Tena, Evren and Romain ( our CD intern ) have joined the Stakeholders Meeting that European Youth forum organized, which aims inform stakeholders in the process of Shaping the Youth Policy for the next year under the Czech and Swedish Presidency of the European Youth Council.
There were the Secretary General of YFJ, Chair of Youth Working Party of the Czech Presidency of the EU, Policy Officer of European Commission, Swedish representative for the EU, and youth leaders from various national councils.
The conference started with the speech of Pavel Trantina about the Council’s Preparations of a revised frameework of cooperation, followed by the European Youth Forum’s Shadow Report on the framework of European cooperation in the youth field.
Then Jorgen Hansen talked about the commission’s evaluation in the current framework in the youth field and the preparation of a revised framework.
The conference followed by a round table debate, Tena mentioned the ways of searching for and recognition of volutary work as precious experience since 2010 is year of employment and poverty and 2011 will be the year of volunteering.
Percin mentioned his vision and ideal in way of achieving visibility of the results gathered for shaping the new policy and stressed that the best way to implement these results is to work with youth leaders and youth organizations.
In the end, it was agreed that the communication is the key factor for implementing the new framework for the youth policy, which will focus on Youth Employment.
