Dear friends,
The first of September has came, and AEGEE-Europe is proud to present you its new Board of Directors, who will live and work in the Headoffice in Brussels for the next twelve months.
Let’s start
with Agata (AEGEE-Poznan) who came to Brussels straight after graduating and getting her master degree in Economics to serve as President in the upcoming year. Agata has a natural desire for optimism, which supports her constant strive for excellence in almost everything she does. She is passionate about people and how you can discover and live your life purpose. Agata is fond of chocolate cake and good wine.
Being open, communicative and active, Olga (AEGEE-Sankt Petersburg) as the Secretary General will maintain the communication flow within the Network and of course with the outer world. And, of course, she will do her best to keep the house as livable place and the CD as a real, solid and friendly team. Her charming smile and voice won’t leave anybody in doubts about the greatness of herself and all AEGEE.
Nico (AEGEE-Delft)
will be the financial star (read: Financial Director) of the Comité Directeur. Next to his big love for money and numbers also languages (Dutch, English, Esperanto, French, German, Slovak, Spanish and Italian) are of great interest to him. With a degree in Civil Engineering he truly is a divers and interesting person.
Anita (AEGEE-Ogre) has started her day as Net
work Director and Vice-President. She promises to love AEGEE forever and always and spread her passion and addiction to this great association to the rest of the world. Although she might be known as a spammer, her live stream Facebook status and pictures’ updates from the CD house will still continue, so get yourselves prepared!
Agnes
(AEGEE-Szombathely) has studied European Studies and now she will be External Relations Director, so she thinks she found the perfect place for herself for the next year, also looking forward to get to know the capital of Europe. She is desperate to make the CD house and especially the garden a nice place to be, and already happy about the many nice guests visiting the team. Apart from traveling (of course), she likes Belgian chocolate a lot, aqua parks, cheap 100% orange juice, laying in the hammock in the garden, and she is a cat person.
Denis (AEGEE-Moskva) has been studying Political Science and Euro
pean Studies in Moscow, so Brussels and European Institutions are familiar to him and will be a big asset in his work as European Institutions Director. He is a party person and likes, apart from usual AEGEE stuff like traveling and hanging out with company of nice people, humor (dry British sence of humour), cinema, arts and Georgian food.
Apart from
that, for half of the year CD also will enjoy the presence of their CD assistant Manos (AEGEE-Peiraias). He is studying informatics and will spend his time in trying to understand what IT stands for. He likes football, computers, any kind of alcohol and of course he adores being annoying.
