The last four days were kind of crazy in the CD House. We had around 20-30 guests all day and night, serious meetings and less serious evenings as well as guests from not only Europe, but even South Africa and India. But about that you will be able to read more in the upcoming days! :)
The last weekend was also important, because we started to realise that Christmas and New Year will be very soon… Even if it is not snowing in Brussels and for me personally it is hard to believe that it is already winter and I might have Christmas without snow, it does not change the fact.
On Saturday all AEGEE-Europe board went out of the house to our pre-Christmas reception, which we organised for our partners and friends from other organisations and companies. Even though not everybody could arrive, we were happy to meet ELSA, ESN, YFJ, JEF, EPSA and “Young EU Russia” as well as some AEGEE members and Alumni.
Sunday came with another surprise. During the day we were trying to feel like celebrities when signing quite a lot of New Year cards and practising our handwriting (otherwise we might forget how it is to write on the paper, not only on the computer), but in the evening Thijs and Wouter (thanks to our guests!) put a Christmas tree and some other decorations in our office. Now we really can not forget that the end of the year is approaching! :)
