This Monday I took a train to one of my favourite cities – Maastricht, where I had a meeting with Student Forum Maastricht (SFM) 2010 organisers.
SFM is an international conference for 100 students coming from all over Europe to discuss and exchange their opinions in order to create a better understanding of the challenges facing Europe today. This year SFM has a theme “The European Dream – Drafting Visions for the EU” and it will happen on March 1-5.
What is important, is the fact that this year AEGEE is one of SFM partners and we are cooperating with them in a lot of fields. Some of the agreements that were achieved after the meeting are:
- 10 great and motivated AEGEE members will represent our association in Student Forum Maastricht. Deadline to apply for AEGEE members is January 26, so don’t miss it – read more about it on AEGEE-L!
- Miguel Gallardo Albajar from Environmental Working Group will be facilitating SFM workshop “The Green Power – Environment Policy”
- AEGEE-Maastricht will organise SFM social evening on Thursday, March 4. If you are nearby, drop by and join them!
So, AEGEE people, do your best to present our belowed Network in Student Forum Maastricht and infect everybody with AEGEE spirit there!
