The challenge was given: 10 months to raise 20 000 €. Following the official announcement from the Comité Directeur on 20th January 2012, AEGEE-Budapest set to work as the official organisers of Agora Budapest that will take place between 31st October and 4th November 2012. As with every event, raising a sufficient amount of funds is crucial. After a brainstorming session many ideas were born, one of them requiring the creativity of AEGEE-Budapest members.
The European Economic and Social Committee launched its annual video challenge with the topic “What Europe means to you” with a chance to win up to 5 000 €. A small team led by Gergő Kalamár immediately started working on the concept to create a short video to show what Europe means to AEGEE members. After a long afternoon and several sleepless nights and about 1 500 photos taken by Bálint Erdősi, the video was ready. The ten videos with the highest amount of votes will be evaluated by a panel of judges who will choose the winners.
