Hello, again, our dear AEGEEans! We have another candidate who will be at the Agora in Novi Sad and her name is Zofia Wójcicka applying for the position of Member of the Juridical Commission (JC).
Hello. Before the start of the interview, introduce yourself and tell us who you are and what connects you to our organisation.
Hi, My name is Zosia (It’s a diminutive of my name and I normally use this version). I have been a member of AEGEE–Warszawa since December 2022 and since October 2023 I have been in JC.
Who am I? It’s a good question. I can say that I am a daydreaming type of person who likes to have a mission or aim in their life. So as you can see, being active in a student association is something for me. I am a daydreamer but when I need to be I am decisive and focused.
You are candidating to become a member of the Juridical Commission. Why did you choose this position? What do you think is exciting about it?
I chose this position because I study law and in the future maybe I will become a lawyer. As a member of JC, I can work on skills that are useful for a future lawyer job and at the same time know what is happening in AEGEE. What is exciting is that I can combine two important things for me: being active in a student association and working on my legal skills.
Do you already have experience in the juridical area?
Yes, I’ve been active in the Juridical Commission since October 2023 starting as a Sub-Commissioner and then stepping into an interim role. As I mentioned before I also study law and I work in a law company.
What are some skills of yours that are important to have while being part of the Juridical Commission?
I think it’s important to be organised, and detail-oriented, possess effective communication skills and also make decisive decisions when needed.
Is there something you want to tell us? Now it’s your time to do so.
I think I told everything that I wanted. So I will just end – see you at the Agora or somewhere in Europe!
