>It’s 1:17am on Thu/Fri night, I am awake since 7:40am in the morning and hope to go to sleep till 2am tonight. Let’s hope I’ll manage.
The first days for all of us have been a bit… hectic I’d say. Working long hours, replying to endless e-mails, having meetings and trying to manage saying “thanks” to everybody. Not to mention the daily routine as preparing the cooking schedule (no, I didn’t do it, Agata did) and respecting it, cleaning the house and trying to move in our rooms while the outgoing CD was moving out.
We also had our first guests, actually quite a few of them. The first guest was (and still is) Michele from AEGEE-Pavia, who arrived in the evening of August 31 and is staying here for a few days while trying to find his accomodation in Brussels.
On the day after, when September 1 came, we automatically persumed that the outgoing CD are guests as well :) Most of them moved out on September 1-2, only Evren is staying longer.
On August 2 for a short visit (an hour or so) Evita, Alma and Artis from AEGEE-Rīga paid a visit, bringing Anita kvass (Latvian drink she loves so much) and using the opportunity to see the CD House themselves they have heard so much about. They were passing by Brussels, so just stayed for a short talk.
In the same evening a surprise bell rang – Florian from AEGEE-Toulouse wanted to be our first official guest! Now we officially confirm him as the first surprise guest, who arrived after September 1 and stayed overnight.
In the next days we are looking forward to receive some more guests, who are also contributing in the cooking schedule and daily routine. If you plan to pass by Brussels, please, definitely inform us about it in advance as well! :)
