For starters, all of our Ambassadors receive comprehensive\u00a0<strong>training to prepare them perfectly for the role<\/strong>. You&#8217;ll be able to develop the skills you need to be a successful Ambassador, and we&#8217;ll give you loads of support and ideas on getting started.<\/p>\n<p>Is your university part of the programme this year? You can check the list <a href=\"http:\/\/europa.eu\/epso\/ambassadors\/students\/universities\/universities_en.htm\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If so, are you interested in:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Finding out more about EU Career opportunities and promoting them to your fellow students?<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Building a fantastic network across Europe?<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Gaining work experience during your studies?<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Developing your skills in public speaking, marketing and HR?<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Receiving a full induction and coaching throughout the role?<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Giving your CV extra clout with future employers?<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/europa.eu\/epso\/ambassadors\/students\/index_en.htm\" target=\"_blank\">webpage<\/a>\u00a0will give you all the information you need on how to become an EU Careers Student Ambassador.<\/p>\n<p>The ambassadors will be acting as a point of contact for students interested in EU Careers,\u00a0researching target groups and contacting university media, setting up mailing lists and distributing information on EU Careers through the appropriate channels, giving presentations, attending university careers events and finding interesting speakers, completing monthly tasks and regularly reporting back on your activities, managing and regularly monitoring a dedicated Facebook page\/online presence.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline to apply is\u00a0<strong>1 April 2016, 12.00 midday (Brussels time).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please don\u2019t forget, in a super-competitive graduate job market,\u00a0<strong>a position of responsibility like this could really make you stand out<\/strong>.
