1: The beginning of my journey.. After checking-in for my departure from Schiphol Airport, I still had about 2 hours left. So I decided to relax, have a beer (the glass is empty as you can see in the background :D)), some fastfood and a nice cigar afterwards! (The coke came with the meal)2: View over Athens, from the Acropolis.34
5678: One of the first days in Thessaloniki, we just met half of the group and decided to have a drink to get to know each other better.
910: The first time (at least for me) to have a Pita+Gyros in Thessaloniki!11: Greek lessons12
1314: At this coffeehouse where you had a great view over Thessaloniki.15: The group under the Arch of .... (please, someone help me out :D)16

2930: Some true Greek restaurant, not a tourist-like-one. Sakiz came up with this one I believe, so thanks Sakiz. The food was great, and I guess I've tasted the best Zatziki here. But the other parts of the meal were just as great! This restaurant is one of the best I've eaten in Greece.3132: I would like to show the court Exhibit A: This photograph clearly show that Greek people are NOT used to alcohol :D. Sorry Yannis ;). Thanx for the great picture :D
33: Smoking in your bed is never a good idea, I know, but whatever. I was really relaxing, and let the ash from cigar fell between this concrete bar outside my window, and the edge of my window, onto this stack of cigarette-ends. Afterwards I just threw the left-over-piece of my cigar onto the stack as well.....34: .... which I shouldn't have done. I was so tired, and I got so relaxed from this cigar (no it wasn't a joint!), that I fell right a sleep. When I woke up, I saw this huge column of smoke outside my window... but a couple of botles of water fixed the problem :D. No harm done!3536
37: Just a few streets outside the residence in Thessaloniki, somewhere more uphill. The sun was about to set, the streets were empty and silent, and there was this woman walking slowly, playing this very sad song on her accordeon.. a real nice setting!3839: Okay, I'm a very emancipated man! Nowadays a guy has to iron his own laundry ;). I had this white blouse with me, and it got really wrangled-up in my bag and didn't brought no ironer with me. Luckily one of the students from across the hall could lent me his for a moment. He was from Palestina, and it appeared that most students still left at the residence were from abroad. All natives had gone back to their parents.40
